Yes, you can push Ark to its highest configuration at 2560x1080 resolution. Your system specs support it—CPU at 4.4GHz and GPU at 2000MHz should handle the load well.

You're certain it was possible? I'm covering all aspects on ultra.

Before anything else, it's worth noting that Ark remains an early access title, so the developers aren't overly concerned with hardware optimization. They mainly concentrate on adding more content. My friend used a 2x980Ti and upgraded to 2xGTX 1080 at 2560x1440 resolution, but he couldn't push everything to its full potential. It would be helpful to check forums and reviews from players with similar setups. Just tweak the vision range and textures to their maximum, adjust the resolution scale—otherwise stick to mid to high settings. Enjoy your rig! If you want smoother performance, consider upgrading your winX license beyond "home" to unlock more system features.

It worked smoothly on ultra with a 960. Performance was decent, exceeding 25 fps.

It's only beta and the performance isn't great. You can't even get it to run smoothly on an OC 980 Ti at 1080p with around 60 frames per second.

Are you sure? It seems like someone is getting a good frame rate even on a powerful setup. Probably just a bit of luck there!

The game will become more optimized over time, and it should work well on a 2560x1080 display.

Is there any performance limits? Checkboxes available? Can resolution be set to 100%? Sometimes it's simpler to switch to DX10 mode for higher FPS or useful commands like -useallavailablecores.

It should work smoothly at around 40 to 60 frames per second, though the game isn't fully optimized yet. You can check some benchmarks for a clearer picture of expected performance.
