Surface Laptop 3
They claim a Surface Laptop 3 battery typically lasts around 11 hours. I understand you won’t achieve that, but aim for something close. If I’m fortunate, I only get 2 to 3 hours from mine, which was ordered on November 3, 2020, still under Microsoft’s one-year warranty. My concern is whether it’s worth it and if a warranty replacement makes sense. I bought my PC brand new, but Microsoft’s warranty doesn’t ensure the replacement unit will be identical—it might be refurbished, not brand new. So, if I’m out of the picture, what should others do? Should they risk giving up a new machine or send in a refurbished one that could fix the problem?
I’ve attached two battery reports: one from my PC and another from a laptop I received in December. That one lasts only a day.
