The motherboard is quite excessive; you might prefer a more basic model and use the funds for higher-quality RAM.
Modern systems no longer need HDDs; for large storage, SSDs are recommended. SATA or Gen 3 NVMe are preferable options.

For DDR-4 I’d aim for 4000 CL18 or higher. I’m not very experienced with MSI, but Carbon seems appealing. I’d also consider Z690s with the 12th generation Intel.

I’m receiving identical RGB ecosystem results, but it appears GB800 offers more challenges compared to other models at this point, particularly with DDR4 support. Some claim a BIOS update resolved the issue, while others disagree.
