You're planning a build with an RTX 3090 and a Ryzen 9 5950X. You're considering the MSI Megax 570S Ace Max MMO and are curious about its software support and RGB options. The reviews you read were about the board's performance, but you want to know if those issues persist or have been resolved. You're open to alternatives that match the look of the Megax but might offer better value or similar aesthetics. Your feedback is appreciated!

I was also checking out an X570 Aorus Extreme, which has a great appearance, but I also learned about some common software issues.

I don't have a specific 3090 in mind. Could you clarify which item or product you're referring to?

I haven’t got it yet, though I was thinking about the MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3090.

Purchase an MSI motherboard. Typically, within a specific brand you'll find resources to sync the RGB lighting. Alternatively, opting for a Gigabyte GPU means using a Gigabyte motherboard.

Sure, most negative reviews seem to stem from compatibility problems. However, the overall motherboard can still be solid if you choose compatible components.

Generally, it’s simpler to align RGB settings when using identical components. You can still achieve this with more work and additional parts if needed. If synchronization isn’t necessary, it’s not a major concern. Most mid to high-end Z690 boards will be too much power for your needs, so the choice comes down to how much extra you want.

List the key components like port count, slot types, and other specifications. Then search for a motherboard that matches those needs.
