However, it remains scaled at 1800p or similar in most titles.

I think it's amusing to compare PCs to consoles since the analogy doesn't hold up. You can't directly match a 4K ultra at 60 FPS with a 4K low at 30 FPS—it just feels wrong. The FPS aspect is okay because consoles keep things steady at 30 FPS, making it much smoother than a PC's 30 FPS. Still, I always say 4K is reachable; no one needs top settings, and most games look great even on medium.

GPU side yes, just render it in 1080p and increase size to 4K. You’ll get identical results or better frame rates compared to PS4 Pro when done that way.

From a raw horsepower standpoint, the GPU in the PS4P is roughly 30% slower than the RX480, which is quite noticeable. The Zen APU would need to match or exceed the performance of a 380X, especially since current APUs are limited to 720p gaming. Additionally, the PS4P runs at 1800p instead of 1080p.

Sure, I understand. The real details about the PS4 weren’t clear to me, and I didn’t experience any powerful APUs myself.

Couldn't find the right way to type "pro" in that context.

Remains a confusing naming pattern, since these are two completely separate systems—one is really flawed, and the other is only marginally better because it handles power a bit more effectively.
