This piece is pretty confusing. I thought 4K gaming would be expensive, but a decent PC setup could handle it without breaking the bank. The prices mentioned seem high for some components, especially if you're just starting out. It also seems like the article mixes up details about what's included and what isn't. Overall, my take is that while the console offers convenience, a properly built PC can match performance and even edge out the console in certain areas. What do you think?

It's clearly a fake 4K version.

I gave up on my PS4 because I hated the PS Plus fees. The PS4 Pro was already old when it launched and only stays relevant as the original console became obsolete too quickly. They need top-tier 4K performance for VR. I think a budget AMD Zen APU could beat the PS4 either this year or next.

It's widely understood that a Zen APU will easily surpass it, and for the same cost as a PS4 Pro, you're likely to receive a quad—either Zen or Intel (subject to pricing and discounts)—along with a decent GPU, possibly an RX 470 or 1050.

It's a PC equipped with eight tablet cores and a relatively slower RX480 processor. The PS4 graphics are impressive, especially at high resolutions like 4K. For smooth performance, you'd likely need a more powerful GPU, such as a 980Ti or 1070. From a CPU perspective, the situation is similar—GPU performance seems to be the main bottleneck.

Tech/GamesRadar has consistently shown a strong preference for console content, so you might want to check out the 'TechRadar' video by Rags for a clearer perspective.

I really believe the Pro offers great value with its hardware. However, I’m not interested in downscaled 4K versions. I’d prefer to enjoy 1080p60 at optimal performance.

It seems the video is faked at 4K resolution, but the effects and explosions were intentionally removed to allow smooth playback at 30 frames per second.
