Considering an upgrade from the Ryzen 5 3600 to a 5600X or 3700X could be beneficial. These options would likely enhance performance for your RTX 3060 (not Ti) when playing Call of Duty and streaming on Twitch.

Unlikely to be worthwhile. Unless you truly require those additional two cores (unlikely with NVENC) or if you're experiencing a CPU bottleneck where GPU usage stays below 80% (unlikely on a 3060), opt for the 3600 and delay upgrades.

It depends on how uninterested you are and whether you're willing to spend money.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ll keep what you received in mind. If it doesn’t improve performance by at least 40-50%, I won’t invest further. I hope this helps and meets your needs! Appreciate you letting me know.

NVENC acts as an encoder that OBS can utilize. It mainly sends the encoding task to the GPU with minimal overhead. Switching to a higher resolution like 3700x and using CPU encoding could boost performance slightly, but only marginally—around 2-3%. That improvement is limited, so spending about $100 for such gains would be excessive unless you're streaming heavily.
