I just put in a HDD (ST31000528as) and now my headphones are buzzing and crackling. My specs are: RX 480 GPU, AMD Ryzen 5 3400G CPU, TX850 power supply, ASRock B450M Pro4 motherboard. Yes, it has the right BIOS for my CPU. If you were asking about the boot drive, it’s a Samsung MZVLB256HAH-000L7.

Disconnect the HDD and test functionality. If it works, the issue lies with the HDD or your SATA port.

Have you checked for updates on your chipset drivers and audio? Did you attempt removing the driver from Dev Manager and restarting the system (the driver should reinstall).
