Video of the situation Hey everyone. Here’s a brief overview of what happened. I assembled this system about 2-3 weeks ago, with no major problems except during Windows 10 installation. I had to manually install the Wi-Fi driver to prevent it from failing completely. Once Windows 10 was set up, everything worked smoothly. A few days ago, while streaming Diablo 3, my PC crashed mid-stream—reset occurred around an hour and a half in. I tried again twice, but it kept resetting during the stream. After that, I stopped streaming and went to sleep. The next day I resumed playing Diablo 3 without streaming, which worked fine. Later, while playing Borderlands 3, I noticed the game froze during a DLC update. I checked the task manager and closed Borderlands 3, but it restarted. Eventually, I went to bed. The following day I tried streaming Borderlands 3 again, but it didn’t crash. I played through the DLC without issues and farmed some items. Then I noticed a higher drop rate for MALIWAN Takedwon in one mode, so I considered farming it for new gear. This took a few days. After some testing, I encountered another problem with Borderlands 3 freezing mid-run on a second monitor due to background music. I opened Task Manager, closed and reopened BL3, and it stabilized afterward. I went to sleep and the next day I streammed Borderlands 3 again, which was smooth. I matched made some Takedown and the game crashed immediately. The desktop popped up a crash report box, which I submitted three times shortly after launching. I suspected the Armory Crate was the culprit, as it was the only update visible in Event Viewer. I reverted to Windows 10 but couldn’t reinstall it. The PC still resets during loading, which I documented in this video.

I checked all the slots to eliminate a possible faulty one. It worked for 2-3 weeks. Still, I kept testing with different RAM sticks in various configurations and on another machine, but the problem persisted.
I placed an order for a new Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VIII motherboard and successfully received a refund for the previous one. I believe the other board might be the cause of the problem. I’ll share an update soon to inform everyone about the resolution.
Received a new motherboard today. The Crosshair Hero VIII (Non-WiFi) is experiencing the same problem. After testing RAM, PSU, and GPU, it’s possible my CPU might be the cause. It feels unusual and I’m having trouble finding anyone else with the same issue.
