I'm experiencing problems while playing Doom from 2016. Check these images first. My performance is consistently high, but I’m seeing unusually high frame rates. This creates a very choppy feel during gameplay. Here’s my setup: monitor with 2560x1440 resolution, refresh rate of 144Hz, G-Sync mode enabled, running on an i7-7700k processor (not overclocked), 32GB RAM at 2666MHz, and a GTX 1080 Ti graphics card.

Consider using OpenGL instead of Vulkan and observe the results.

Everything looks fine. I’m aware there are some games that may not work properly when the desktop scaling is adjusted lower than suggested. Fallout 4, for example, won’t start unless it’s configured at the recommended 125%.
