I've encountered an issue and I'm trying to figure out a solution. Here are the details: My setup includes a Thermaltake Chase MK1 with 3 intake fans and 3 exhaust fans, paired with an MSI FM2 A85XA-G65 CPU. It runs an AMD A6 6400k, and I usually don't overclock it, but I let the board run its own overclocking. It stayed at 3.9GHz, which is slightly above the normal 3.9GHz. I reverted it back to 3.9GHz after no performance improvement. The CPU cooling is good, with a Thermaltake Nic C5 cooler keeping temperatures around 27°C during games like Call of Duty, Black Ops 2, Battlefield 4, Saints Row, and Creed 3. Graphics performance is solid across Titanfall, Saints Row, Assassins Creed 3, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and Dirt. I've used a MSI Hawk R5770 AMD with two Crossfire units, 4x2 Gig AVXir Orange 1600 and 2x2 Gig AllData XPG Gaming 1600 (total 12GB). I also have a Zalman ZM-RC1000 drive, a Kingston 120GB SSD (boot), a Maxtor Pro 500GB screen, and a Vizio 24-inch HDTV. I switched cables from HDMI to DVI to HDMI without any improvement. The USB 150Mbps adapter works, and my wireless network, keyboard, and mouse are functional. In Windows 8, I noticed lag in gameplay during story mode, especially in Battlefield 4, which sometimes freezes or crashes. It's mostly smooth in gaming mode. I've set graphics to low, but lag persists in story mode. If you watch YouTube with others using the same AMD A6, their games run well without issues. Could there be something I'm doing wrong? Thanks for your help!

Have you attempted to reinstall or update your graphics drivers?

I managed to enter gameplay but it keeps freezing in story mode. Removing both graphics cards didn’t help, even with just the APU running on the CPU.

Occasionally the browser fails completely and Battlefield crashes, but clicking 'OK' takes me back to the BattleLog.

I believe the problem is with the software, since I used an i5 paired with a GTX 660 and it kept having the same issue. Eventually I gave up on the project.

Turn off one of your crossfire cards. I set it up a few weeks ago and it began causing major issues after the fall patch.

I just attempted it. I believed it would work—I entered a part of story mode, played the entire game, then switched back to story mode, which crashed and sent me back to battle log?

At first I started playing and everything went smoothly. I didn’t face any issues. Now I’m really confused.

Remove two of your RAM sticks (the ones that don’t match) and test again.

I removed the ADATA RAM and started AVEXIR. It attempted to freeze during gameplay. Then I removed all but one of my mods, thinking a single issue was the problem. My PC boots normally with no errors. Regarding internet speeds, could they affect gameplay? Or is it related to browser issues? I’m using Firefox, but the same problem occurs even with exploits.
