Avoid downloading the file. Instead, unzip or extract it to the desired directory (c:, d:, e:, or fSmile. Enter the BIOS, access the Bios flash menu, find the file, and allow it to flash.

It depends on what you plan to do with the system. Updating the CPU first might be better if you're working on performance-critical tasks, while adding RAM could be more important if you need more memory for multitasking. It doesn’t really matter which comes first unless you have specific needs. Sorry for the confusion!

You're asking about the meaning of "update CPU first" and why you might receive new RAM if the component is defective. The process involves checking the CPU update before proceeding, as it ensures compatibility. If the RAM is considered a replacement due to a fault, you can return it for warranty coverage through RMA, which stands for "return to manufacturer." This allows the product to be repaired or replaced at no cost.

I updated the CPU driver. Device Manager indicated an outdated version for the Ryzen 7 5800x from 2009.

No equivalent to a CPU driver exists. Instead, there are motherboard or chipset drivers available.

Update the CPU using the link first, then proceed with the BIOS update.

Don't worry about details. Update the chipset drivers, restart your PC, then pull out the latest BIOS update from the USB drive. Insert it into a USB stick formatted as fat32 or exfat and follow the BIOS steps to install the new BIOS (the drive might need to be mounted correctly). This method could work from the C: partition, but it depends on whether the BIOS supports reading NTFS files. If problems persist, try raising the latency setting from 16 to 18 and retest.
