Portal 1 and 2 are excellent titles (the bundle is currently $6.24), CS:GO is also a solid choice if you're into that genre. I also enjoy the earlier Assassin's Creed games.

Witcher 1 & 2, Mass Effect, Dragon Age 1, 1.5, Metro 2033, Metro Last Light (redesigned), Dead Space series, Fallout 3, New Vegas Company of Heroes 2, Saints Row 3 & 4 (for the fun stuff), F.E.A.R series (first three were okay but worth trying after the first two), Half Life 2 (with Black Mesa add-on – turns HL1 into Source engine, super cool), Garry's Mod (perfect for joking around and light play), Metro Last Light (alternate versions).

Just Cause 2 Skyrim FTL Hawken and TF2 are amazing for free Castle Crashers and Terraria are both great family games, they have online multiplayer
