I've tried playing FFXIV (a MMORPG) on my phone and it works smoothly. Don't worry about it being an RPG—performance depends on reacting to mechanics and doing combos, so low ping is key for high levels. I didn't notice any lag affecting my gameplay.

The issue is the delay, moving from broadband to mobile brings it down to 60ms–140ms, and I won’t run games with 100ms or more.

It would rely on your internet access and the speed/response time involved. I’d say it’s definitely feasible, though not always perfect due to connection differences. Radio signals can lose strength and face inconsistencies, making Wi-Fi generally better. A wired link would be the most reliable option overall.

You're right, it's definitely better with your cable connection. The 4G delay is around 50-100ms, and the stability isn't as strong as your built-in Wi-Fi.
