Typically, board marketing and manuals contain 'tweaking' discussions. If possible, consider returning and requesting a refund on the new Gigabyte board, as it seems to lack overclocking benefits compared to your existing model—unless Gigabyte offers something different or has updates you require. For certainty, search online for "GA-H61M-DS2 review" to get more detailed information than we can offer. A 300-500MHz boost will go unnoticed.

Jim90 explains that most board marketing materials often mention 'tweaking' features. He suggests considering a return and refund for the new Gigabyte board if it doesn't offer any overclocking benefits compared to your current setup, unless Gigabyte provides different information or additional features you require.

Realistic22:
Bodvar:
Navigate to advanced (top) and locate your CPU multiplier.
Will I be able to overclock this board as others suggest it's not possible for H61 boards?
I don’t have any experience with H61 boards, so I’m unsure, sorry.

Elbert suggests using a small bclk OC and attempting to install the CPU in boost mode on the motherboard. He recommends a z77 or z68 board that supports the CPU, and advises checking eBay for availability at reasonable prices. He also asks about the expected gHz boost and its potential impact.

Your CPU's turbo speed is 3.7GHz and achieving it with a bclk OC between 2 and 4 could bring it up to 3.85Ghz. This is still far from the desired 4.2Ghz base clock, making the Z77 or Z68 more suitable for reaching that target.
