Hi everyone, I find myself playing BF4 quite often, though it’s unusual. I’m experiencing strange shivers and sudden tremors while moving around. For instance, when I run forward, my character might jolt unexpectedly on the screen before continuing, or when I zoom in on a vehicle, it suddenly pulls me back out again. This happens after reinstalling DX11 in the game’s redist folder and trying some fixes I found online. My ping stays solid at 30-35, but sometimes it spikes up to 135 or higher. My FPS never drops below 60, and I play across different game modes. Could anyone suggest a solution? Thanks in advance, Jack.

I experienced an issue where my ping and FPS remained stable, but after playing one game I would suddenly face stuttering and lag. I had to fix the game each time it occurred, and I haven’t discovered a lasting fix yet.

It's really disappointing, though I love this game and playing it with friends. It affects my performance and leaves me doubting if I should go for a 120Hz monitor. Honestly, based on what you have, it doesn’t seem like it’s about performance limits.

It's frustrating when you can play a game but still face long waits between sessions. I’d prefer joining an EA live chat to get direct answers. I think their support is better than Activision’s, though someone from Activision mentioned my graphics card isn’t designed for three monitors.

Actually, the statement doesn't quite convey a strong impression on its own

I haven't encountered this problem myself, though I know a friend who struggles with mouse jittering and stuttering. When he uses a controller it works fine; I can't pinpoint the cause since he's tested various mice. Perhaps a polling rate issue? I don’t know, but he’s planning to buy a new mouse soon, so I’ll check if older ones were the problem. He has a 4690 and a GTX 970, which means his system is performing well.

The same issue occurs again—it could be due to server problems or another user online at home. Your connection speed will increase when they try to load a new webpage, etc.

If your CPU is overclocked, you might consider reverting to stock performance to determine if it resolves your issue. I experienced a comparable situation recently, which ultimately stemmed from an unstable overclock.

Played for a few hours, and somehow changing from my wireless setup to a wired connection resolved the issue—though I’ll undo the overclock later if needed.
