They hand it over to TSMC, a manufacturer that produces the core, and then companies like EVGA take it, using their own PCB or a reference board. They attach their own cooler—such as the ACX 2.0—or use the reference cooler. AMD follows a different naming system altogether.

I would install the driver directly from nVidia. Brands like EVGA often use outdated drivers to ensure compatibility and reduce support issues. You can also obtain beta drivers from nVidia. Sometimes newer games perform better due to game-specific optimizations. Make sure to install all relevant drivers for your motherboard, which are usually available on the manufacturer's website or through central download tools they provide.
