Sure, here you go!
Hi there. I recently got my PC (http://pcpartpicker.com/user/ericlindstrom/saved/JYWTwP) and installed MGS:V. When I tried it, it didn’t work as expected—it ran choppy, even with low-medium graphics settings and 720 resolution. I saw someone on YouTube saying it worked great for them too, using a 970. I was wondering if my components need drivers to function properly. Since I’m just starting out, any advice would be really appreciated! Thanks!
For GPU drivers, visit the official NVIDIA website at http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx.
Ensure drivers are correctly installed in the appropriate slots to enable dual channel functionality.
I received a driver from EVGA.com because my GPU comes from them. Nvidia and EVGA are connected but not identical—Nvidia is the company behind GPUs, while EVGA provides drivers and support for those GPUs.
Nivida designs the card, sells it to Evga, who enhances it with an upgraded cooler, and GForce is Nivida.
