Im working on getting a gaming club going at my school and would like some help with some ideas. I need to get some ideas for games that are good for LAN and largeish groups on PC. Right now we are thinking LoL, Dota 2, tf2 would like to stay with free games or really cheap ones. We are also doing this with consoles and games like super smash bros, guitar hero but since this is pc gaming im assuming for pc interest from you guys. Any recommendations is welcome even if its tips or ideas for the club. O it being a school thing try to keep the blood and stuff down as much as possible

Participating in contests among club members is a simple way to begin. Organize a competition focusing on the most players each odd day, and shuffle the games on even days to ensure no single match consistently wins.

The person handling the club wants to plan major events rather than regular ones. He’s worried the school might lose interest if these activities become too frequent.

These titles are simple to enjoy and require minimal hardware needs, making them accessible for servers or personal use.

The system requirements are quite solid to consider, though I hadn’t thought about it before—I’m used to just running what I need. The server issue isn’t a problem; the school IT representative will manage it using the school’s network and can host the server alongside the school’s systems.
