Upcoming details: CPU model Ryzen 5 7600X, fan AK620, motherboard Gigabyte B650M DS3H, RAM Kingston Fury Beast 2x8GB DDR5 5600MHz, PSU Corsair RM750x, GPU Radeon RX 590 (from previous system, updates planned later). Hello, I’ve placed all the required components and am awaiting delivery. I found an article suggesting the Ryzen 5 7600X can run up to 5200Mhz DDR5 RAM without overclocking. My order is DDR5 5600MHz RAM. Will this affect performance or will it operate at a lower frequency? Thanks!

5200MT/s is the highest speed officially backed by Ryzen 7000, meaning if it can't handle more than that, you can't return it for repair. In practice, they allow memory overclocking and can run around 6000MT/s without problems. Just turn on EXPO/XMP and the RAM will support up to 5600MT/s.

Actually, that doesn't match the specs. I was using 32GB at 6000 MHz, which isn't correct. You should have enabled Expo. Right now I'm aiming for 64GB, but my modules have varying timing requirements.
