Steam support's left me feeling frustrated. It’s nearing week 3 of my support case, and I haven’t received any response yet. This problem seriously affects my Steam account because of something I did in mid-2014. They haven’t replied, and it seems like the process is being intentionally delayed. Back in 2011, my issues were resolved within a week, but now it takes weeks for answers. This is really disappointing. Pickup your game Valve.
Valves support system is the lowest in the business. I received better assistance from Origin, actually. I faced a problem with them refusing my credit card. I waited three days, then four, five days without any reply. Finally, after six days, they told me I might need to buy the game in big picture mode. That doesn’t make sense at all. Still, I enjoy Steam—you can't match their deals or overall platform.
Steam is slipping. Their competition has not been sitting still, and Steam has become more and more cumbersome to run as of late. At this point, even half assed live tech support is better than an email support ticket.
