Support split screen for Win 10 Minecraft victory.
Me and my friends always played split screen on consoles, we played on 18 inch portable tvs up to 42 inch tvs. The experience was great on them all, as frankly it was about the company and playing together and having laughs. I play rocket league split screen with the Mrs and the kids on my 24" monitor and it is perfectly fine. I also play mario kart wii 4 player split screen on dolphin emulator which again is perfectly fine. It's not like I'm requesting it in csgo where it's super competitive. I'm requesting it in a game that is best played with friends casually.
I understand. My monitor is 28 inches, which is sufficient for a split-screen setup. I also stream to an HTPC in the living room linked to a 42-inch TV, making it equally suitable for split-screen use. I strongly dislike the notion that features some people desire but aren't practical should be excluded from everyone's access. It's absurd to expect people to push such limitations on others.
They wouldn't set up a split-screen experience for PC since each Mojang account is limited to one player, and the system doesn't support multiple players per account or offline splits. It just makes sense to stick with the console version where it works smoothly.
I applied the mod for the Java release. However, I was really optimistic about getting into Win 10 since it immediately supports controllers. This update also promises to work well with Android and iOS users in the near future, offering huge possibilities.
Not included in the latest release, as mentioned earlier, the Java version was straightforward. This is the Windows 10 edition which works with controllers as a standard. It would be quite simple to integrate it into the Pocket Edition, restricting access for mobile users while enabling it for PC users.
