I recently purchased the complete version of Rainbow Six Siege. The season pass and other items were available on Steam for $40 a week ago. Now the Season Two pass is out, so I’m unsure what to expect. Will I receive Season Two content for free, or will I need to spend another $40 on a game I just bought at a discount?

You'll need to purchase Season 2 on its own since it represents a completely new DLC installment. However, it might be worthwhile considering Season 1 first.

I just purchased this game for $40 using a pass, and that’s all the savings I had left. It means I’ll have to decide what to do next.

Season 1 looks promising enough. No extra content is necessary for enjoyment or skill development. However, if you're keen, it's worth investing in.
