No, it won't work. The system requires a minimum of 16GB RAM for stable performance.

I wouldn't even consider it if you could. The 5700G has 3200MHz memory and performs better than the non-G SKUs because the iGPU also uses that bus.

Don't waste time saving it on DOCP and think you're done. Just don't overload the RAM with that board or the 5700G.

The A520 chipset doesn't support overclocking, so it's best not to try unless you add heatsinks to the VRM for both the CPU and GPU sections.

You can use a B450M-PRO4 R2.0, but it might not be the best choice compared to the A520.

I’d suggest the Asrock b450m-pro4 r2 as a more suitable choice. Overclocking the built-in graphics will have some restrictions, and memory might only increase by a small margin beyond 3200 Mhz. You’ll enjoy improved onboard audio, an additional PCI-E X16 port, and two M.2 connectors, plus more USB ports on the back—making it a stronger overall package compared to the A520M DS3H. The main drawback is that the CPU VRM is relatively weaker; it’s adequate for a 5700G but not ideal with high-TDP CPUs like the 5900X or similar. Relying on overclocking isn’t wise—it heavily depends on the motherboard and CPU. If you manage it, gains might be just a few frames, which won’t noticeably affect performance at lower settings.
