You purchase it but encounter problems... it doesn't seem genuine, like some fake product. You can't get assistance from the forum. If it's truly faulty, we're here to help. Apologies if I came across as overly negative.

Yes, you only need the product key to turn Windows on. As I mentioned earlier, you can bypass it during setup and activate it later from the desktop once you have the key. Keep in mind that skipping this step will leave you with an unactivated version of Windows 10, which will show a watermark saying "unactivated version" or similar, and sometimes this markup appears in games too.

You're asking if it's okay to use Windows and still seek assistance, but you're unsure about the rules around that.

I would recommend kinguin, they have buyers protection which does have a cost associated with which is +$7.50 if you want the extra protection when buying the product.

I probably won’t receive the additional safeguards. What does OEM mean? It usually means original equipment manufacturer, which often provides limited technical assistance. This might impact your system and could affect whether you get updates.

I purchased two Windows versions from Kinguin about half a year ago, and everything seems fine. The buyer's insurance cost was minimal, around a dollar.

Thanks! I compared the prices and it seems Pro is slightly cheaper. Probably worth going for Pro.

You're considering whether Pro is worth it—looks like it might not offer any real benefits. If you're not impressed by its features, saving your money makes sense.
