Hi, you're considering upgrading to a 14th gen Intel CPU while keeping Windows 11. Would simply replacing the SSD, booting into safe mode, and removing old drivers work? The idea of a full reinstall isn't possible because of existing software.

It could potentially work. Similar to having multiple problems, swapping the motherboard is like purchasing a new PC. If certain software is tightly bound to a specific platform, it might no longer function properly. I wouldn't recommend the 14th generation unless you're aiming for a lower-tier SKU that's less prone to issues.
