I purchased a system equipped with an i5+8400 processor under $200. Upon checking the CPU specifications, I noticed that the i5+8400 only supports 64 GB of RAM, whereas the standard i5-8400 offers 128 GB. The main distinction I observed was the inclusion of Optane memory with the i5+8400. Does Optane impose any restrictions on the amount of RAM it can utilize? Or is there another factor at play? I found a comparison page online, but my curiosity keeps driving me to explore further.

Avoid it? Try ImTool ramdisk or similar, then downloads speed up significantly. Your RAM gets utilized. Want extra space? Simply turn off the ramdisk whenever needed.
