I haven't tried the latest 11th generation Intel processors yet. What do you think about XMP settings and memory speeds? Intel claims the 11400 supports up to 3200MHz, but I’m curious if it can hit 3600MHz and stay stable. My recent build with a Ryzen 3600 worked fine with the 3600MHz CL16 RAM, though I’m not sure about the platform’s performance.

Also, the mobile component is relevant here. I probably need to test it on an Asus B560 Prime Plus.

With the 11th generation (i5 and above), XMP support is available on B560 and H570 chipsets. This feature was previously limited to Z Series mobos. You should be all set.

I also came across information about the B560 chipset and Intel releasing memory overclocking options. I wasn’t certain if it could maintain stable speeds at 3600 MHz. Have you tried setting it up in a similar way before?

You're using AMD, but the system should handle it fine. Running at 3200MHz without XMP is normal, and boosting to 3600MHz would be even better.

The ability to overclock memory varies by motherboard. For the B560, running 3600MHz with Intel CPUs is feasible and shouldn't cause issues.

You're experiencing problems with your memory sticks and the new motherboard. The mismatch in speeds—3000MHz vs 3200MHz—could be causing compatibility issues. It might help to verify the exact speeds supported by your motherboard and processor, or consider using a different speed profile if possible.
