Hello! I see you're experiencing some unusual behavior on your PC. From the first start, you notice a faint hum from the power supply unit, which isn't bothersome unless it affects performance. During gaming, micro stuttering happens briefly—about 5 to 10 seconds—followed by a momentary silence in the PSU noise. This tends to occur after extended play sessions and only stops when you close the game. Temperatures are normal during monitoring. You've already reduced CPU voltage, but the issue persists even after resetting settings. It's happening with games like Guild Wars 2 or Overwatch 2, even on older titles. Could you share more details about the symptoms or any recent changes?

That's an unusual PSU model—no prior knowledge of the brand, just the "Pro" variant. Could you share a Hwinfo spec sheet and details about temperature sensors during load? Also, what are your 3.3, 5, and 12V ratings? Try clearing the CMOS to see if it resolves the issue. Are there hardware microstutters or sync problems with the monitor?

Have you tried using XMP off? If not, consider that possibility. It might be a driver-related problem. Download DDU: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/display-driv...taller-ddu. Run DDU; you'll be asked when launching the app. Select run in safe mode. Once in safe mode, DDU will launch. Navigate to options in DDU and set up to block Windows update for driver downloads. Proceed with a clean install and restart.

Looks like availability might differ in the UK versus other regions for these products.

PSU is G pro. I’m not connected to the PC right now, but I’ll share the HW info sheet when I get back.

G Pro seems solid, shouldn't cause any problems. Honestly, I'm not sure what else I'll find on the spec sheet, but following @DoctorNick's advice looks like the best approach.

Essentially FSP resembles Superflower. Both are prominent PSU Taiwanese brands recognized across Asia, though in Western markets they’re mainly known via partners of these companies. If your EVGA PSU is from Superflower, it’s likely the top-reviewed model from them. Concerning your question: after reviewing the advice, consider reinstalling drivers, updating GPU BIOS as a last resort, or adjusting RAM settings. Also verify if GPU overclock/undervolt values are within normal ranges and monitor GPU temperature trends. If stuttering occurs mainly after long sessions with stable temperatures, check for spikes in GPU or CPU temperatures, core temps, or sudden drops in power usage. Ensure you’re using four separate 8-pin cables—preferably a dual 6-pin to 8-pin converter if your PSU only has three. Additional checks include VSync and free/gsync settings on Windows, monitor readings, in-game configurations, and FPS limits. Since stuttering tends to happen post-game, it might not be related to power consumption or temperature extremes.
