I'm interested in what others recommend for a sag support. The support I received wasn't sufficient and one PCIe lane is damaged, preventing my card from working properly. For a 4090, it should fit into a fan hole at the top or be a long brace around 11-12 inches. Many options were either too short or just simple pegs, which I'm not confident about using.

I favor the piston style supports. Similar to this... https://www.amazon.com/Graphics-Brace-Su...hdGY&psc=1

I've seen this before. If it's a bottom support, it must lift about 280mm. The firmware was installed upside down. I checked the tether connections near the fans, but didn't spot anything I'd feel confident about.

Wooden parts shaped to fit or Lego-style stacking always succeed. For a more advanced option, consider a 3D printed pillar.

I work at Menards, so I guess I could grab some wood when I get home. Right now at the job. Just trying to sort it all out with more than just my mind.

You're suggesting a hockey stick might be too long for your needs.

You're considering the handle or the blade for your build. In reality, the screw hole design seems like a solid choice—it fits the 11-inch requirement and could support the GPU from below while allowing top mounting. The PC makers' new mobo will definitely be helpful.
