It functions correctly when plugged in, but wirelessly it fails to operate. The controller is linked and connected to my setup, yet it doesn’t work in the game.

You need to follow the specific steps provided. The controller won't connect instantly, even wirelessly. You'll have to press the PS button three to five times until it connects properly.

settings and then move to accessories; you’ll locate your dual sense controller by clicking it. You can modify the settings there. Usually, once connected, it will switch automatically.

There are no settings available. I can only eliminate it from the list. When it connects, it sometimes disconnects right away. That's quite bothersome. It doesn't automatically switch on.
