Hey everyone, do you know how to switch operating systems between drives on a single PC? I need this set up so it’s super easy to choose, especially since my girlfriend uses the PC at work and I want her files kept separate from mine. She’s prone to viruses, so I’d appreciate it if the options were clear and named simply. Thanks for your help!

For Windows past XP, simply install the operating system on various HDDs or partitions. When you start it, it will prompt you to choose which OS to boot from. I haven’t experimented with dual-booting before.

Set up both operating systems on separate hard drives (ensure only one drive is connected per installation)
Navigate to BIOS/UEFI, choose the primary hard drive you use most often as the default boot drive
Press F2/F11 or any key you prefer to select the boot device and pick your desired drive Does this assist?
