Doom currently has support for SLI. It's available on Steam and you can take advantage of 4K performance with your 2 980 graphics card.

DOOM performs poorly in SLI at 1440fps, with framerate plummeting during fights. Running it in single GPU mode via the NVIDIA control panel works smoothly. ID/Bethesda have remained quiet about SLI and Vulkan support since their announcement a few weeks ago.
