Hello everyone. I'm using an ASUS B650E-E motherboard with four M2 slots, and I've filled all of them. The layout is as follows: M2_1 for PCIe 5.0 (CPU), M2_2 for PCIe 4.0 (CPU), M2_3 for PCIe 5.0 (CPU), and M2_4 from the chipset. There are also three PCIe slots: PCIEX16_1, PCIEX16_2, and PCIEX16_3. My concern is whether adding another M2 to the last PCIEX16_3 slot would cause any issues. Will it slow my performance or affect PCIe connections? I also checked the Hyper M2 configuration and saw it works. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

From what I understand from the manual, you're allowed to use this slot for one additional M.2 drive. It's near the headers at the bottom, but you should verify the expansion card won't interfere with anything.

It doesn't encounter any issues. I purchased an NVMe compatible expansion card and installed a 2TB SSD, which functions properly.
