The VGA jumper is activated. I'm trying to determine if the board is faulty with very limited resources here. CPU model E3-1230, RAM 2x4GB DDR3, Crucial UDIMMs, PSU EVGA 550W G3. Only a CPU fan, case fan, and power switch are connected unless noted below. When booting, the board powers on normally; power LED and IPMI LED function correctly, but no VGA output appears. No beep or error codes detected. I verified the beeper works with no memory, receiving expected memory beep sounds. This suggests the motherboard is functional overall—IPMI works, management access is possible, but temp and fan sensors are missing. After about five minutes of each power cycle, the board seems to boot steadily. I connected a PS/2 keyboard without a numlock light; tried a backlit USB keyboard with no backlight or numlock; connected via front USB header—no response. Ethernet is active but the activity light blinks slowly, and the link speed light remains off despite gigabit capability (IPMI port shows full speed). I don’t have another compatible CPU or more memory. Any suggestions would be helpful.
