Super assistance here!
Hello! I'm still getting familiar with computers, and I recently installed a 4070 super but messed up during setup. I used the 12-pin adapter that came with it, connecting it to a single twisted cable from my PSU. After a few weeks of this setup and several crashes, I decided to switch back to my original 2070 for now. Through some research, I think I figured out my mistake and plan to install the 4070 super properly with two cables. I'm curious if using just one cable for about a week could have harmed the GPU or if it's safe to proceed correctly now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! My PSU is a NZXT C850 v1, and the GPU is an ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 Super with 12GB dual OC memory.
Ensure it remains undamaged and works well with the proper number of cables.
