Hello everyone,

I haven’t worked on my gaming PC in a long time—not even cleaning it—and I'm considering taking it apart completely for a thorough cleanup and potentially adding some new components.

Here’s what I currently have:

Case: Cooler Master N300 Computer Case (ATX, microATX, USB 3.0, Mesh Side Panel) - NSE-300-KKN1
Power Supply: EVGA 100-W1-0500-K3 – 500W 80 Plus Power Supply
Motherboard: ASUS H97-PLUS Intel Motherboard (H97 Plus, ATX, SATA Express, Socket 1150)
Graphics Card: Gigabyte AMD R9 380 G1 4 GB SOC PCI-E Gaming Graphics Card – Black
Hard Drive: WD 1 TB PC Hard Drive - Blue
RAM: HyperX HX318C10FBK2/8 FURY Black, 8 GB, 1866 MHz DDR3 CL10 DIMM (Kit of 2)
Processor: Intel i5-4460 Quad Core Processor (3.2GHz, 6MB Cache) (Older model)
Solid State Drive: (I’m unable to recall the specific model and can't locate it at this time).

I mainly play less demanding games, such as Vindictus and League of Legends, and while I don't necessarily require maximum graphics settings, I’m noticing that Chrome is using a significant amount of my RAM. Would it be beneficial to purchase an additional 8 GB of memory? Or should I simply accept that this system is becoming outdated, and if I want to do anything more advanced with it, it’s best to leave it as is?

Thank you.

Could you please elaborate on why an upgrade might be considered? If so, what is your financial range and any preferred manufacturers you have in mind?
