I have a setup with these components: CPU i5 8600K, GPU 1050 Ti, MSI B360 PRO VDH, RAM Gskill Aegis 2x4GB at 2400MHz, SilentumPC vero v2 500W, 120GB SSD, 1TB HDD, a budget case, and plans to upgrade to a Z370i gaming PC for resale. An ITX case will let me retain my current build later. I also intend to install an amplifier matching the 2070 Super specs. Is this approach sensible or should I focus on other upgrades?
The 8600K performs similarly to the 3600, and the Tomahawk Max isn't an ITX model.
The 3600 works well, but the biggest issue is the 1050Ti. Investing more in a CPU isn't wise if your GPU is limiting performance.
