It's been a while since I've been active here, but I recently upgraded my PC and got this configuration for a good price. Now I'm planning some improvements with my current system and would really appreciate your assistance.

I created this because there's a lot of posts nowadays asking for upgrade advice both on here and on the CPU forums, and I feel... forums. in order for the community to make worthwhile suggestions.
CPU model is Intel i5 9400F with stock cooler. Motherboard is GIGABYTE H310M S2 2.0 (rev. 1.0). RAM includes 32GB 16X2 DDR4. GPU is NVIDIA RTX2060 with 6GB memory. Power supply is 1st Player Black Sir 500W 80+ White Gaming PSU. Chassis is 1st Player FireRose F4 with tempered glass. Operating system is Windows 10 Pro 22H2. Monitor is BENQ GW2480. PSU age is not specified as it was a prebuilt PC purchased in September 2024; BIOS version should be verified at F12.
Do you have a budget?
Stuttering might be due to weak cpu power.
Try this basic test:
Play your games, but reduce resolution and visual effects.
This slightly strains the graphics card.
An increase in FPS suggests your cpu can handle better graphics settings.
If FPS remains unchanged, your cpu is likely the bottleneck.
If you're CPU-limited, your options for upgrading are limited with your motherboard:

The I7-9700K offers around a 25% boost and costs about $100 on eBay.
Beyond that, you'll probably need a new motherboard.
If graphics are the constraint, consider replacing your PSU as well.
