You're looking for a simple, offline game that works well on your new laptop. Since it runs on an i5-6200U with a 720p display and integrated graphics, there are lightweight options available. Consider games like "Celeste," "Hollow Knight," or "Stardew Valley" — all free to download and fun without needing internet.

It mainly depends on your favorite types of games. Check the Free To Play section on Steam, skip the ones labeled Multiplayer, and pick the ones you enjoy.

I like exploring the adventures in classic RTS titles without an internet connection, like Starcraft and Warcraft III.

I’m thinking about some games right now—graphic titles that really impressed me. What I’ve heard is they’re top-notch, and I’ve played them and had a great time.

A child of light, a knight in shovels, a spelunker, a world explorer, a rogue with legacy, a spirit from Furi, and a Hyper Light drifter.

I support getting a few emulators and running all the classic titles. I keep a tiny USB stick on my keychain with Sega and SNES emulators plus ROMs for nearly every game ever made. So far, no system has struggled with them. These old games drag out playtime and offer real difficulty.
