Hi everyone, here’s how I’ve configured my system and what specs I’m using.
My laptop is an XPS 15 9530 with a 13th Gen Intel i9 processor, 32GB of RAM, a 15.6-inch OLED display (3456 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz), and the RTX 4060 graphics card.
I have several external connections, including a dual-monitor arrangement and an Ethernet adapter. There’s a USB-C to Ethernet adapter with an HDMI output for one monitor, and another adapter (JS Create) connected to monitor #2. A USB port from this adapter is also linked to a laptop stand, which has fans at the bottom and multiple USB ports on the back for peripherals.
All monitors are set to match each other in refresh rate and resolution—1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz—to match their native settings.
I’ve had good performance so far, but I’ve noticed some unusual behavior that didn’t occur when I used the laptop alone on Wi-Fi. The system runs smoothly without stuttering or lag, and everything responds quickly.
I’m trying to optimize this setup, but I’m open to suggestions or advice on improving it further.
Could it be my monitors, the adapters, or the Ethernet settings that could be causing issues? Also, would a very long Ethernet cable affect my connection? And don’t worry—I’m not concerned about my internet speed, just possible network configuration problems with the adapter.
Thanks for taking the time to read this detailed update! I hope you can help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Improving your experience, right? Your display? Check if your laptop needs any BIOS updates. Then verify if your OS requires an update. Next, use DDU to remove GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia) in Safe Mode and reinstall them manually from the latest source on Nvidia's support site using elevated commands.
Sharing details about all connected devices helps us in two ways. If you still notice stutters, consider reducing the number of devices linked to your laptop...?
