As @Flight1sim mentioned, 8.1 seems to be the best choice. It offers solid stability and outperforms other Windows versions so far.

It might work better if you install it as a secondary operating system, especially during initial setup or within a virtual machine.

I've been running Windows 10 Dev Preview on my machine since its release. I've experienced some crashes, but they seem to happen only occasionally—about once every two weeks at most. Overall, I'm quite satisfied so far. For now, I'd suggest sticking with Windows 8.1 until the official version is ready. That way you avoid many issues. I've seen a bit of improvement in certain games, though it's not something to get overly excited about. If you decide to go for Windows 10, make sure to adjust the updater settings to a slower pace. This allows the updates to have time to fix most problems. Personally, I really enjoy Windows 10 and am eager for it to improve further. Just remember it's still under development.

Thank you for the feedback. Over the last month, I've relied on Windows 10 as my main operating system and experienced no issues thus far.
