SKSE combined with SkyUI Falskaar could offer features to improve the appearance of towns or villages, such as thinner swords or similar enhancements.

Here are some personal favorites: Realistic First Person – though it might need tweaks in the mod menu via Start Menu; Frostfall – gives a survival twist to Skyrim; You Are Not The Dragonborn – I’ve played it multiple times now, so I just go through without special focus; Realistic First Person feels like the best fit.

Total immersion in first person is what it is.

Start with the Skyrim GEMS, then explore the Skyrim Nexus. Check out channels such as Brodual or MMOxReview for mod recommendations. A tip: avoid interacting with items in the Steam Workshop—they often contain AIDs and have weak support. SkyUI is essential (needs SKSE for full use). The rest depends on your preferences, but unofficial patches are recommended. You can locate them at the provided links. Each mod should work without conflicts, as I've tested many since the game's launch.
