Arma 3 is great thanks to its multiplayer features and extensive mod support. Be aware it's a military simulator, so it takes time to get used to and can't be rushed. Trying to act like a lone wolf won't work—most situations will feel similar unless you're part of a team.
Top of my mind are Fallout, Mass Effect, Path of Exile, Terraria, Papers, Please, Amnesia, Dark Descent, Divinity, Serpentine, Silent Hill, Vampire: The Masquerade, Bloodlines, Arcanum, and other similar titles.
