Being comfortable with past matches is useful, though not required. YouTube clips can help you catch up on the storylines without revealing the actual gameplay.

Each Fallout title offers unique narratives with no connections between them. I'm currently enjoying Fallout 3, which will lead to Fallout 4, and I'm having a great time.

Thanks a lot everyone. I'm planning to try Fallout and Witcher. I won't get sunlight again for a while. Hehe.

Metal Gear Solid 5: Groud Zeroes or Phantom Pain – I’ve experienced phantom pain personally, so it doesn’t really matter if you haven’t played other games. You can spend a lot of time (especially with phantom pain) and the choice is either to stay stealthy or go all out with firepower.

Yes you can understand the story. There is an option at the start of the game if you want to play the version which is based on a continuation of the witcher 2, or without that if TW3 is your first game. Just select "no witcher 2 *something*" and you should be good. I loved it

if you like a more puzzle orientated game you should check out LIMBO. the atmosphere in that one is amazing! other than that i guess Fallout 3/4 and The Witcher series, tough they have been named in this thread several times already.

You enjoy watching videos about Rainbow Six Siege, which is a puzzle-based game. Have you tried Portal or Portal 2 before?

Dead Space sequels, Bioshock titles, Resident Evil lore, Evil Within, Wolfenstein, New Order – nothing compares to taking down Nazis head-on. Fallout 4 or Far Cry 3 deliver intense action, while DeathSpank brings a heroic twist. Vanquishing evil and upholding justice are the themes of this series.

If you have a taste for japanese fighting games and heavy metal soundtracks, try GGXrd, it's an ex-PS3/PS4-exclusive just released for PC, the port and the gameplay itself is insanely good for only $24 atm on steam, I got addicted to it already Otherwise, Fallout 4, Witcher 3 is my other top recommendations
