Suddenly the connection drops and it says Ethernet isn't properly linked. When I disconnect the internet cord and reconnect, it works again. This issue keeps recurring. If I remove the Ethernet cable and reinsert it, everything functions normally. About a week later, the same problem occurs. Anyone have any ideas? VID_20231116234100 (1).mp4

It could be an Ethernet port or cable problem; consider borrowing a LAN cable and test it temporarily. If the issue persists, it may point to a motherboard problem. Alternatively, switch to a USB Ethernet port and attempt driver installation.

I'm not sure if it's an issue with the Ethernet cable itself. When the issue happens, quickly disconnecting the cable from the router's port and then reattaching it fixes it, just like doing the same on the motherboard also resolves the problem. It's really frustrating when the Ethernet port on the motherboard seems to stop working without any movement or change. Everything remains unchanged until suddenly something goes wrong.

Check your Ethernet NIC driver in Device Manager and note its name.

No major concerns here; just a few simple checks might help identify the issue. Does the connection work on another PC or device? Does your system show this issue with a different cable? If yes, does the problem persist after removing the NIC drivers and installing the newest version from the official download site?

I have already disconnected the Ethernet cable and plugged it in, so everything is functioning properly now. Next time I’ll stick to the troubleshooting steps.
