I looked at both of them and they look okay. How can I tell if my Windows firewall is set to private? If I open Defender, I see PRIVATE NETWORK (ACTIVE). And yes, there is MICROSOFT DEFENDER FIREWALL checked in the options. That's what it means right?

To see your network settings, open the Command Prompt and run this exact command: ipconfig /all. Just type it in without quotes so Windows knows what you mean. Then hit Enter to get all the results. You should be able to copy everything right away. There is no need to type the whole thing out again because it will show up on your screen or come from the clipboard automatically.

Nothing is wrong with the results, but they are not showing all the information from a normal command like ipconfig /all. Specifically, there is no mention of wireless network adapters here. Just check that only one network adapter is turned on—either wired or wireless—not both at once. = = = = Other things you can try: Turn off IPv6 if possible. Change your DNS servers to Google's 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

Switching our internet settings to the official Google addresses was a smart move for you and me.
