I was playing Destiny 2 when suddenly my framerates dropped sharply—it's never happened before. My system runs smoothly with an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H and 16GB RAM, and I usually play games at high settings without problems. I reinstalled the game, cleared its cache, restarted my laptop, and reset it again, but nothing worked. I checked my dedicated video memory, which was lower than expected, and looked into BIOS settings for graphics options, but couldn't find anything relevant. My in-game settings also seem to be set higher than 512MB. I’m trying to fix this myself and would really appreciate advice.

Check your VRAM requirements and see if updating drivers helps.

I attempted to refresh the drivers, and everything is now up to date.

Check detailed specifications via the provided link. Consider removing the Armory crate for cleaner setup. Usually, you can't adjust GPU or RAM settings on laptops, so it's not necessary.

Check the available options. With your warranty still active, you have two main choices: schedule professional service or attempt DIY fixes. The VRAM issue depends on whether the problem affects performance or stability—consult the manufacturer’s guide for guidance.

You might be wondering why you rely on the igpu when you have a RTX 3050. It's possible it's already using the Radeon GPU, but if not, you'll need to adjust settings in Nvidia Controls to switch to the DGPU for your 3050. Personally, I believe that setting it to use the 3050 is the default and optimal choice, as it has its own VRAM. The 3050 provides 4GB of VRAM, which you should utilize for gaming performance.
