Hi, I noticed your PC (8 years old) stopped working suddenly. There was a faint but clear sound when something shorted itself, though it wasn’t obvious. In the past month, there were a few BSODs (2-3 times). After powering it back on, the RGB turned off completely, didn’t respond to the start button, but came back after reconnecting the power cable. When I pressed the power button, only a tiny humming noise and slight fan movement occurred, then nothing. I tried reconnecting the motherboard power cable, removing the RAM first, then the GPU, but it didn’t help. No beeps from the motherboard, no burning smell. I think the PSU might be the issue. Any advice on how to find the problem?
Spec just in case it helps:
i3-8350
GTX1070
ASRrock h370
16gb ram
be quiet pure power 10 600w
+3 fans

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
What's the age of your PSU?
Consider swapping it for a more stable one—something recently acquired from a friend or neighbor—to see if that helps.

This was my initial suggestion too; I plan to try it tomorrow morning.
I purchased everything at once, with all the components brand new. The estimated time is about 7 to 8 years.
Appreciate your assistance.

It seems like the PSU is indeed the problem. A key indicator is that the PSU you own has a short warranty period and its construction is quite basic. Given that your PSU is at least 8 years old, it’s likely beyond its expected lifespan. If the PSU fails, there’s a risk it might also affect other parts of the system. Higher quality PSUs reduce this risk, but since yours doesn’t stand out in build quality, other components like power supplies or motherboards could be compromised too. The only way to confirm is by testing with a better-quality PSU, such as Seasonic Focus/PRIME or Corsair RMx/RMi/HXi/AXi.

I could completely replace everything and start over.
Perhaps I'll attempt to restart it using a different PSU to check if the issue persists.
Thanks once more for your helpful advice.
