I previously had around 300 fps on average now it's dropping to 150. All other settings remain unchanged. Could you assist? (Details: specs provided) CPU usage is 35%, GPU at full capacity (TF2 uses up to 2 cores max)

The settings haven’t changed much over time, yet your performance dropped suddenly. The auto-setup issue might be related to configuration changes or system updates.

I assume you're familiar with backing up your cfg folder and understanding its purpose. So, just follow these steps: remove the folder and add "-autoconfig" to the launch options. This sets the game to start fresh without cloud settings. If that resolves the issue, you know the problem lies in your configuration. Valve has a history of breaking console commands and often doesn't address them. In fact, they've caused entire leagues to fail mid-season due to broken demos. Just a heads-up – this works for every source game.
